Kayak Under Deck Pump Stow Kit

The Whetman Equipment Under Deck Pump Stow Kit allows a sea kayaker or a white-water kayaker to safely tore their hand operated bilge pump under the kayak deck but within easy reach of the paddler.

Four 10cm diameter reinforced PVC patches with 100% brass eyelets link together with 6 mm shock cord.

Glue** the patches to the underside of the deck, inside the cockpit, approximately 15cm apart and simply tie off shock cord to appropriate tension to hold pump* firmly in place

Important
Be sure that the fitted pump does NOT inhibit your exit from an overturned boat. Different kayaks, installation locations, and leg sizes will have an impact on entering the kayak and exiting the kayak once the pump is installed

Always test exit on dry land test before taking the kayak out on water.

Installation Instructions:

Prep the surface of the kayak and the PVC patch with a gentle scrub of sandpaper to mar the surface.

Clean surface with an alcohol wipe to remove any dirt or grease.

Allow to dry.
Follow glue instructions.
It is recommended to use a 2-part epoxy resin glue for plastic or composite kayaks
