Kajak Sport Roll-Aid

Kajak Sport Roll-Aid

Product information

Roll Aid is a specialized training float designed to help paddlers develop and refine kayak rolling skills. It is intended purely as a technique training aid and should not be used as a self-rescue paddle float.

The float supports the practice of paddle control and body mechanics for a wide range of rolling techniques. It can be securely attached to both Euro and Greenland paddles using adjustable webbing buckle straps, similar to the attachment system used in the Avataq 2.0.

For balance brace training, the float may also be placed on the paddler’s arm by sliding the arm under the mesh section and inflating the float (the webbing straps should not be used for arm attachment).

With less buoyancy and support than the Avataq 2.0, the Roll Aid offers a natural progression for paddlers looking to further refine balance and rolling control. As skills improve, the amount of assistance can be gradually reduced by lowering the air pressure inside the float, allowing for progressive skill development.

As with all on-water skill training, practice responsibly and develop techniques gradually. Training with a partner or under professional instruction is recommended.
