Reed Aquatherm Universal Tuiliq; one garment made with BOTH Keyhole & Ocean Spray Decks.

Our latest Tuiliq design based on the traditions of the old Inuit garments but brought right up to date using our unique Aquatherm fabric. A Tuiliq to fit both keyhole & ocean cockpit kayaks.

• Waterproof, Windproof, Fast drying, UV protecting, non-allergenic. 
• Seams: Stitched and waterproof, heat-welded seams giving optimum watertight cuff & hood seals
• 'Inuit Tears' face closure system
• Thin & lightweight making it extremely comfortable and flexible to wear
• Packs up small for travelling. 
• Room can be allowed for extra layers underneath - even a pfd or a drysuit

Custom Fitting:
These Tuiliqs are made to measure. We will require measurements for your head, neck, chest, waist, cuffs and height. We may require you to send a tracing of your cockpit outer rims (on newspaper) including your seat back position marked on...although we likely have your boats template in stock. 

Our Universal Tuiliqs are designed to use on two different boats. One boat with a keyhole cockpit and the other boat with an ocean cockpit. Your ocean cockpit should have an outer edge circumference less than 172cm (68"). 

Having your measurements really helps us to check we are making the appropriately sized garment for you. Our garments are all individually made here in our factory in the UK. We are not offering a precise tailor made fit; we are making you a graded sized garment or product which is a halfway house between tailor made and off the shelf.

Aquatherm Care Instructions

• Turn the garment inside out.
• Hand wash with warm soapy water or machine wash
  

• Use a short, warm, delicate wash with a maximum temp 40 degrees C° in mild soapy water .
• NB If your garment is particularly 'smelly', add a capful of bleach or Milton solution to a bucket of water and soak for a few hours before washing in the machine
• Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
• Do not spin.
• Do not wring.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not iron.
• Do not bleach.
• Do not dry over hot radiators or near excessive heat.
• If the garment has cuffs, hang garments from their cuffs and neck to ensure that, if there should be any water ingress in the double fabric seals, then it can drain easily.
