Kajak Sport Roll-Aid Greenland

Greenland Roll Aid is a specialized training float designed specifically for developing and refining kayak rolling skills. Unlike traditional paddle floats, it is not intended for self-rescue and should be used solely as a technique training aid.

The Roll Aid can be used with a Greenland paddle or during hand-roll practice, helping paddlers learn correct paddle control and body mechanics for a wide range of rolling techniques. Two adjustable webbing buckle straps allow the float to be securely attached to the paddle at different positions.

When mounted near the end of the paddle, the float provides maximum support for early practice. As skills improve, it can be repositioned closer to the paddler to gradually reduce assistance and increase the technical challenge. The straps can be easily adjusted to maintain a secure fit.

The float may also be held in the centre section by hand, allowing practice similar to the Avataq 2.0 configuration, or used directly for hand-roll training.

The Greenland Roll Aid is designed to support a progressive learning process, helping paddlers build confidence and proper technique step by step. As with all on-water skill training, practice responsibly, develop skills gradually, and whenever possible train with a partner or under professional instruction.
